Stray Dog Support is committed to being a lifeline for vulnerable street animals in need of emergency medical care. We believe that every life is valuable and deserving of a chance at a better future. Through our dedicated efforts and the generous support of individuals like you, we provide critical treatments and a path to adoption for these animals.
When an injured or sick street animal is in desperate need of medical attention, we are often notified by our rescue partners in the community. And then we step in.
We understand that time is of the essence, and our compassionate team of professionals works tirelessly to ensure that these animals receive the life-saving treatments they urgently require.

- Life-Saving Treatments: We provide immediate and comprehensive medical interventions to address the urgent health needs of street animals. From emergency surgeries to advanced medical procedures and treatments, we spare no effort in giving these animals the best chance at recovery.
- Fundraising for Critical Care: The costs associated with emergency medical care can be substantial. To ensure that no animal is denied treatment due to financial constraints, we actively raise funds to cover these expenses. Once a street animal receives emergency medical care, they often require ongoing rehabilitation and a safe environment for their recovery. This is where our partner rescues come into play. We provide a nurturing and supportive environment where these animals can heal, regain their strength, and prepare for a new chapter in their lives.
Licorice (now Elliot) was rescued in Cairo, Egypt after having all of his limbs cut off by children.
When we were called to see if we could help, we absolutely did not hesitate, and he was rushed to the hospital where he was immediately put on IV fluids and pain medication. The vets did blood work and tended to his legs, but he had to undergo emergency surgery to remove the bone that was protruding.
After a long recovery and much needed care and attention, Licorice made a full recovery and travelled all the way to California, USA to his forever home.
Freckles was rescued from the streets of Alexandria, Egypt after being dumped in the area.
As you can see by his before photos, Freckles had been struggling on the streets and was filthy with matted fur, covered in fleas and ticks. Before the vets could even assess him, they had to cut away the matted mess just to see his face. The poor little boy's skin was covered in sores and bites and he was really weak.
We had blood work done and tended to his skin, eyes and condition before he entered our adoptions program. He is currently waiting for his forever home!
