Hero

MALE | NEUTERED | UP TO DATE ON VACCINES | APPROX. 7 MONTHS OLD | APPROX. 26LB | BALADY MIX | GREAT WITH PEOPLE | GREAT WITH DOGS | GOOD WITH KIDS | NO CATS | HOUSE TRAINED | HIGH ENERGY | VERY SWEET | TRIPOD | LOCATED IN EGYPT

Hero had a hard start to life, as he was thrown on some train tracks when he was a puppy by children in Alexandria, Egypt. Sadly, he suffered from a broken leg and lost part of his back left foot as well as damage to his front paw. Hero had already undergone surgery to repair his broken leg, but he also underwent a second surgery to remove some problematic nails.

We officially took Hero into our care as we did not want to see this sweet boy back on the streets. Hero is now about 7 months old and has been fully vaccinated, neutered and is ready for adoption. Hero is a strong healthy boy who loves people, kids and dogs, but not cats. Hero doesn't ride well in the car and often gets car sick, so he wouldn't do well with a family who likes to road trip often. He would, however, still like to walk, run and hike with you as he is a high energy guy!

Hero needs some work with his leash walking skills and currently barks when left alone. Hero's ideal home would be in a single family home with a family who can burn his energy out. A tired dog is a happy dog! We believe with the right time, attention and training he will thrive and be a well balanced boy.
