Meet Jenya!

Jenya is one of our special paralyzed pups. We believe that she was attacked as a puppy by other street dogs or she was hit by a car. We have had Jenya in our program since she was a puppy and she is with a wonderful foster, along with some other Stray Dog Support pups.

Jenya is such a gorgeous and playful dog who loves hanging out with her best friend. She is so happy to play with humans and would love to go on adventures with her family. Ideally, Jenya would love to live in a home with access to a fenced yard so she can have easy access to a yard due to her disability.

Despite having some best pals in her current foster home, Jenya is territorial with other dogs and resource guards her food from them. She will take some time to bond with another dog in the home and, if she was going to be the second dog in the home, she would have to be with another respectful dog. She would love to be the only dog getting all of your love and attention in the home.

Jenya is not house trained, as she is paralyzed and will require special care from her new owners. She would love a cart to zip around in and would require diapers. She is crate trained but has separation anxiety when left alone, which would also need some work.

If you're interested in adopting Jenya, fill out our adoption application by clicking below. She is an incredibly special dog who can't wait for her second chance in Canada or the US.
