Meet Mihidana
Mihidana was rescued from the streets of Kolkata, India, along with her two siblings, who we also continue to care for. When they were first found, all three puppies were struggling to walk. They were walking on their knuckles with their legs bent and were diagnosed with Carpal Laxity Syndrome, sometimes referred to as “knuckling over syndrome.”
Their condition was caused by severe malnutrition, which affected the muscles and tendons supporting their carpal joints and left them unable to properly support their body weight.
With proper nutrition, physical therapy, and compression bandages, Mihidana responded beautifully. Today, she is an adult and has no apparent issues walking or getting around. What a transformation!
Mihidana is currently in a boarding facility in Delhi, India, where she gets along well with other dogs and is friendly with people. She has not yet been cat tested.
This sweet girl has come such a long way, and now she is ready for the next chapter — a loving family to call her own.
Mihidana would make a wonderful family companion.
