Meet Misti!

Misti and her siblings, like so many puppies, were found orphaned on the streets of Kolkata, India. They were hungry and crying out for their mother. They lived in a busy road so they were very vulnerable to being hit by cars and being attacked by other bigger territorial dogs. 

For a while, they were being fed by some street feeders but it was clear that, if they were not picked up, they would have a very slim chance of surviving. We were contacted by a local animal advocate to see if we could take them into our program and, even though we have so many dogs, we accepted them in and had them moved to a foster. 

Misti and her siblings are all doing really well now and are growing fast! Misti is very high energy and has a lot of puppy play time energy to burn. She will need some work on her leash training and crate training, but she is almost fully potty trained. Misti would love the company of a second dog in the home, however, it is not a requirement for her. She would do great as a single dog in a family as well!
