Meet Nika!
For those that do not know his story, Nika was originally found in a pile of trash unable to move because of her severe leg deformities. She suffered from Rickets a medical condition caused by a lack of nutrition, calcium and vitamin D. After consultation with orthopedic specialists in Bulgaria her treatment plan was condition health eating and physical therapy - no surgery was required.
As time went on, her legs have improved, and they are now only slightly curved. Her disability does not stop her, and she runs and plays like any other dog.
Nika, is such an incredibly sweet girl who is only around 10 months old and is now looking for her forever home.
