Meet Puchka!

Puchka and his siblings, like so many puppies, were found orphaned on the streets of Kolkata, India. They were hungry and crying out for their mother. They lived in a busy road so they were very vulnerable to being hit by cars and being attacked by other bigger territorial dogs. 

For a while, they were being fed by some street feeders but it was clear that, if they were not picked up, they would have a very slim chance of surviving. We were contacted by a local animal advocate to see if we could take them into our program and, even though we have so many dogs, we accepted them in and had them moved to a foster. 

Puchka and his siblings are all doing really well now and are growing fast! Puchka has an average energy level for a puppy and his fosters say he loves to cuddle and sleep on soft beds. He will need some work on his leash training and crate training, but he is almost fully potty trained. Puchka could live in a home with another dog or solo, as he loves to soak up all the cuddles and love he can get.
