Meet Rocky!
Rocky and his sibling Riya were separated from their mother as 4-month-old puppies from the streets of Kolkata India. We do not know if they were picked up and moved or their mother was killed but they were all alone. They were hungry and crying and hiding under cars because other more territorial dogs were attacking them. They were found by chance after one of our rescuers who was out feeding street dogs in the area and heard them whimpering. They were picked up and vet checked and then moved to a foster where they remain currently.
Rocky is a shy dog and is currently fostered with his sibling only. We believe he would be good with other dogs with slow introductions. He is shy at first and once he knows you, he is very affectionate. He is calm and medium energy and would also suit someone who just wants a dog to hang out with.
